With years of tradition of haute cuisine in the heart of Logroño, Kabanova Restaurant puts together today in its menu the essence of the “Pasión” Group around the fresh produce, the Riojan orchards and the innovative tone developed from traditional compositions.

Kabanova is a dynamic and lively place, where free transit is granted to creativity and experimentation with new proposals.

Highlights: Seasonalmenus and Pairing Dinners with different wineries of the Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja.

Several young talents from the Riojan cuisine come together in Kabanova as part of a dynamic team led by Lucía Grávalos (Headchef) and Fernando Villarrubia; and always immersed in the process of research and development of new flavours and ideas for an everchanging menu, in accordance with the fresh seasonal produce.

Together they develop, among others, proposals such as the seasonal menus, which are themed around the produce of each season of the year; or the dinners paired with the wines from different wineries of the Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja. All this in a unique and special atmosphere—where the space is the active player in the experience, including a new reserved area, for those datse that seek a point of intimacy.

  • We ate from the a la carte lunch menu, but not until the chef prepared a cooking demonstration for us over a welcome cocktail. We then were served a wonderful collection of 4 appetizers including a squid ink bun and a gyoza served in green curry sauce. The mains were cooked perfectly, angus steak and pork, and the coffee based dessert with homemade ice-cream was a perfect end to a 90 minute lunch. The sommelier from Malaga provided us with wonderful wines from both Rioja and Andalusia which matched our food selections and added to an excellent lunch.

  • I love good food and Lucia Gravalos and the team deliver at the highest level. The food was inventive and so delicious. The service was impeccable too. Food highlights were the "fake mini vegetable risotto" and coffee cake and chocolate curd , vanilla ice cream and raspberry dessert - both sublime. In major world cities, restaurants of this calibre would be booked out months in advance. Congratulations Lucia and the team. One to watch!
  • What a wonderful experience we had all round. The food is just delicious and thrillingly imaginative. Always beautifully presented it always made sense on the plate and in the mouth. Every single course surprising and sensational. What made the experience. The food was very good value and the wine extraordinarily so. We relied on the excellent choices of our wine waiter and were never disappointed. What made the whole thing even better, though, was the warm welcome. From the moment we stepped through the door to the moment we said goodbye we felt relaxed and comfortable and in very good hands. It was a real pleasure to meet the remarkable chef and we loved the all female presentation. If you're in Logrono, go!
